1. Rental certificate
Samsø Sommerhusudlejning (hereafter referred to as Samsø Sommerhus) does not own the holiday home that is made available but is owned by a third party (Private summer house owner). Samsø Sommerhus mediates the agreement concluded between tenant and owner.
The lease includes the holiday home, as described on the website.
In the holiday home, there may not be more overnight guests than mentioned in the rental contract. Pets may only be brought if it is stated in the rental certificate.
2. Terms of payment
The reservation of the holiday home is binding immediately, Samsø sommerhus sends confirmation and a rental certificate to the tenant.
- 1st installment of 25% of the rent and processing fee is due 14 days after reservation".
- 2nd installments of 75% no later than 60 days before arrival
When ordering less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the entire amount is as well processing fee due for payment on receipt of the rental certificate.
All prices are excl. electricity, heat, water. These services are charged separately upon departure. Samsø Sommerhus reserves the right to price changes arising from changes in consumer prices.
If the payment terms are not respected, it is seen as a breach of the contract. Which gives Samsø Sommerhus the right to cancel the rental agreement. However, this exempt not the tenant for the obligation to pay the rent, which is governed by the cancellation rules (see section 6).
3.Handling fee
A processing fee of DKK 125 is added to the contract.
4. Arrival/Departure
The house is at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival and ends at 10.00 on the day of departure.
Key can be collected from Samsø Sommerhusudlejning, Østergade 25, 8305 Samsø.
After 14.00 they are welcome to ask if the house is ready.

On the day of departure, the key must be handed in, together with money for consumption and any final cleaning at the office (remember to order, if desired, final cleaning no later than 4 days before departure).
5. Cleaning/responsibility
The tenant is obliged to keep the tenancy clean and must leave the house tidy and clean at the end of the tenancy. Possibly. lack of cleaning will be carried out at the tenant's expense.
The price for cleaning is for the individual holiday home. If cleaning has been ordered, you still must clean the oven, stove, empty the dishwasher and put things back in their place. If there is a hot tub in the house, this must be filled with cold water before you leave the house on the day of departure. Furniture is put back in place if you have moved it around.
Complaints regarding cleaning must be reported immediately after arrival and always before moving into the holiday home. We will then inspect the holiday home and carry out any additional cleaning.
During the rental period, the tenant is responsible for everything in the house. Should damage occur, the tenant must notify Samsø Sommerhus immediately. Damages that are not notified before departure will be repaired at the tenant's expense.
6. Cancellation
In case of cancellation of the rental agreement up to 60 days before the arrival date, a fee of 25% of the rent is paid, however min. DKK 730
Between 1-59 days before the start of the holiday, the lease cannot be canceled, and the tenant is obliged to pay the entire rental amount to Samsø Sommerhus.
7. Force Majeure
If Samsø Sommerhus is prevented from making the holiday home available due to conditions that can be described as force majeure or similar conditions that were not known when the rental agreement was entered into, Samsø Sommerhus can choose to cancel the ordered holiday stay in exchange for giving the tenant a credit for it rent paid.
The credit must be used within 12 months of the planned holiday, and the force majeure itself no longer exists, and can only be used to pay for a new holiday only with Samsø Sommerhus.
